Tawa Pizza recipe

 


Ingredients for pizza base

2 glass luke warm water

1 tea spoon dry yeast

1 tea spoon salt / Namak

1 tea spoon sugar / Chini

200 gram rawa / Semolina

6 table spoon cooking oil / Tel

200 gram maida flour / all purpose flour

Maida flour for dusting

 

Ingredients for chicken toppings

2 table spoon cooking oil / Tel

½ kg boneless chicken small cubes

1 tea spoon salt (or as per your taste) / Namak

2 table spoon garlic paste / Adrak Lassan paste

1 tea spoon cumin power / Jeera powder

1 tea spoon red chilli power / Lal Mirch

1 tea spoon Dhayina power / Coriander powder

1 tea spoon haldi power / Turmeric powder

 

Ingredients for pizza toppings

Pizza sauce as required

Graded mozzarella cheese as required

Oregano for sprinkle as required

Red chilli flakes for sprinkle as required

 

Preparation for pizza base

·       Take a bowl add luke warm water, add dry yeast, add salt, add sugar mix it well

·       Add in it rawa, add cooking oil mix it well then add maida in it add water as required and make a soft dough apply oil on top

·       Once dough is prepared cover it and keep it to rest for 2 to 3hrs

·       Uncover the dough after 2 to 3hrs, dust maida flour in it and start making smalls balls of it

·       Roll the small balls to prepare pizza base

·       Heat tawa place the pizza base on it and roast it from both the sides

 

Preparation for pizza toppings

·       Heat a pan add oil in it, add boneless chicken cubes and roast on medium flame till chicken turns white in colour

·       Add salt in it and roast for a minute

·       Add ginger garlic paste, cumin powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder mix it well & cook on medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes

·       Cover lid & cook for 5 minutes on medium flame

·       Uncover after 5 minutes & continue cooking on medium flame till excess water dries off

·       Chicken topping is ready keep a side

 

Preparation for pizza

·       Place pizza base on tawa apply pizza sauce, place chicken cubes prepared, place graded mozzarella cheese on it, sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes on it

·       Cover lid and cook pizza on low flame for 2 to 3 minutes

·       Pizza is ready to enjoy, serve hot.
