Mini Chicken Shami kabab bun | Street style kabab pav



Ingredients

300g boneless chicken
1 cub soaked Split Chickpea Lentils / Channa dal
Salt (as per your taste) / Namak
2 to 3 inch Ginger (cut pieces) / Adrak
4 Green chilli (or as per your taste) / Hari Mirch
1 Onion roughly cut / Pyaaz
2 to 3 Red chilli / lal Mirch
8 to 10 Cloves / Lavang
15 to 20 Black pepper / Kali Mirch
1 inch Cinnamon stick / Dar Chini
1 table spoon Coriander seeds / Akka Dhaniya
1 glass Water / Pani
1 cup Coriander Leaves / Hara Dhaniya
1 fine grated Onion / Pyaaz
3 to 4 Green Chilli / Hari Mirch
2 Eggs / Anda
2 to 3 table spoon oil / Tel
Onion (For Topping)

Preparation
  • Take a bowl add water in it then add split chickpea lentils (Channa Dal) soak it for 2 to 3hours.
  • Then take a pan add boneless chicken, soaked split chickpea lentils, salt (as per your taste), Garlic clove, Ginger (cut into pieces), green chilli (as per your taste), Onion (roughly cut), red chilli, Cloves, Black pepper, cinnamon stick, coriander seeds, in the same.
  • Cook the same for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  • Then add water in the pan.
  • Mix well.
  • Cover lid & cook for 15 to 20 minutes on low flame.
  • Uncover lid after 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cook on high flame to dry off excess water if left any.
  • Both Chicken & split chickpea lentils has well cooked turn off flame & let it cool down.
  • Once it has cool down add the mixture in grinder.
  • Add in it coriander leaves grated Onion Green chilli (as per your taste).
  • Grind to smooth mixture.
  • Once mixture has been well grinded into smooth mixture remove it in bowl.
  • Grease plam with oil.
  • Take small ball of mixture to prepare Chicken Kabab once all Chicken kabab are ready keep it aside.
  • Now take egg beat it well & keep it aside.
  • Now add cooking Oil in a pan.
  • Turn on the flame on medium.
  • Coat our Chicken Kabab with egg & shallow fry till golden brown on medium flame.
  • Gently flip other side.
  • Shallow fry other side too till golden brown in colour.
  • Chicken Kabab are ready remove it.
  • Take pav cut open from middle.
  • Place it in the same pan & roast it.
  • Roast it on medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes on medium flame.
  • Flip other side.
  • Done! Remove it.
  • Now let’s assemble it.
  • Open roasted pav.
  • Apply Green chutney on the pav.
  • Place Chicken kabab on the pav.
  • Place some Onion rings.
  • Ready to serve.
