Tandoori Roti Indian bread Recipe homemade

 


Ingredients

2 cup Maida Flour / All purpose flour

1 tea spoon Salt / Namak

1 tea spoon sugar / Chini

½ tea spoon baking powder

½ tea spoon baking soda

½ cup fresh curd / Dahi

3 table spoon cooking oil to make dough

Water as required

Maida flour for dusting

 

 

 

Preparation

·       In a bowl take maida flour, add salt, add sugar, add baking soda, add baking powder & mix it well

·       Then add curd in it & mix well than add oil to bind the dough add water as required to bind soft dough

·       Once the dough is prepared apply little oil on top of the dough & cover the dough & let it rest for 2 to 3 hours

·       After 2 to 3 hours uncover the dough & start making small rolls of the dough

·       Once you have make small rolls start making roti dust maida flour as required to roll the roti

·       Once the roti is rolled apply plain water on the roti

·       Heat tawa & place the roti on the tawa towards the water applied side & roast the roti

·       Once the roti starts roasting reverse the tawa towards the flame side & roast the roti from the top side

·       Done soft & crispy tandoori roti is ready

·       Serve hot
