Ingredients
350g Mutton / Gosht
1tea spoon Salt / Namak (or as per your taste)
1 & ½ table spoon Ginger – Garlic paste / Adrak – Lassan paste
½ cup Fry Onion / Birista (Recipe link :
½ cup Coriander leaves / Hara Dhaniya
4 Green Chilli / Hari mirch (or as per your taste)
3 table spoon Water / Pani
4 table spoon Cooking oil / Tel
1 tea spoon Turmeric powder / Haldi powder
1 tea spoon Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder
1 tea spoon Cumin powder / Jeera powder
1 glass Water / Pani
2 Potatoes / Aaloo (peal of its skin & make 4 pieces of each)
300ml Coconut Milk / Nariyal ka doodh
½ tea spoon Garam Masala powder
Fine chopped Coriander leaves to Garnish / Hara Dhaniya
Preparation
· Take a
bowl add in it clean washed Mutton (Gosht) cut medium pieces, add Salt (Namak)
& Ginger – Garlic paste (Adrak – Lassan ka paste) mix it well to combine
and keep it aside
· Take a
mixer Jar add in it Fry onion (Birista), add Coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya), add
Green Chilli (Hari mirch) & Water (Pani) then grind it to smooth paste
& keep it aside (Masala paste)
· Take a
pressure cooker add in it Cooking oil (Tel) turn on the flame on high add
Mutton (Gosht) in it and roast it for 2 to 3 minutes ster continuously to avoid
burning after 2 to 3 minutes roasting add Turmeric powder (Haldi powder), add
Coriander powder (Dhaniya powder), add Cumin powder (Jeera powder) lastly add
Masala paste which we have grind & keep aside & roast it on high flame
for 5 minutes ster continuously to avoid burning after 5 minutes add Water
(Pani) mix well & cook till boiling when its starting boiling add in it
Potatoes (Aaloo / Batata) mix it well to combine & cover lid & pressure
cook for 3 whistle
· After 3rd
whistle turn down the flame on low & continue pressure cooking for another
15 minutes after it turn off the flame & let its pressure cool down
· Then
uncover lid & check if the Mutton (Gosht) have turned tender if yes then
add in it Coconut Milk (Nariyal ka doodh) makes sure to Ster continuously while
adding milk to avoid lumps mix it well & turn the flame on high & cook
to boil
· Once its
boil add in it Garam Masala powder mix well to combine & cook it for 1 to 2
minutes on high flame ster continuously
· Garnish it
with fine chopped Coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya) turn off the flame
· Done!
Enjoy yummy Mutton hara salan you can serve with Jeera rice, Tandoori roti of
