Fish Curry Indian recipe (Grand Maa Style)

 


Ingredients

Washed Fish slice cut

½ tea spoon salt / namak

400 ml coconut milk / nariyal ka doodh

1 table spoon garlic paste / Lassan ka paste

2 table spoon cooking oil / tel

1 tea spoon cumin seeds / Jeera

5 to 6 curry leaves / Curry patta

1 glass water / Pani

1 tea spoon salt / Namak

1 tea spoon cumin power / Jeera power

½ tea spoon coriander power / Dhaniya power

1 & ½ tea spoon red chilli power / Lal mirch

1 tea spoon turmeric power / Haldi power

2 slice cut chilli (or as per your taste) / Hari mirch

1 chopped tomato / tamatar

½ cup coriander leaved fine chopped / Hara dhaniya

1 table spoon tamarind (soaked in luke warm water for ½ hour)


Preparation

·       Take slice cut clean washed fish add salt & mix it well let it rest for 5 minutes

·       Heat a pot or pan add cooking oil, cumin seeds & curry leaves roast it for a minute

·       Then add garlic paste mix it well then add water & cover lid continue cooking on medium flame for 1 minute

·       After 1 minutes uncover it & mix well add salt, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder & green chili mix well then add chopped tomato & chopped coriander leaves & mix well

·       Then cover lid & continue cooking on medium flame for 5 minutes till tomato becomes soft

·       Then uncover it & roast for 2 minutes on medium flame then add fish in it & gentle mix it well till the mixture combine with fish

·       Then add coconut milk continue cooking on medium flame gently stir continuously till curry starts boiling

·       Once curry starts boiling then add crushed tamarind water in it & cook till boiling

·       Curry is ready to serve enjoy with steamed rice
