Ingredients
½ kg chicken make slice cuts on its pieces
1 bowl fresh Curds / Dahi
1 & ½ table spoon Ginger garlic paste / Adrak lassan paste
1 tea spoon Salt / Namak (or as per your taste)
1 tea spoon Red chili powder / Lal mirch powder
1 tea spoon Turmeric powder / Haldi powder
1 tea spoon Cumin powder / Jeera powder
1 tea spoon Coriander powder / Dhaniya powder
Small pinch red food colour mix in 1tea spoon water / Lal rang
1 table spoon cooking oil / Tel
1 tea spoon Butter / Makhan
1 small piece burnt charcoal & few drops Ghee or oil for smoke
Preparation
· Take clean
washed chicken pieces in a bowl slice the chicken pieces with the help of the
knife add in it (all above mentioned ingredients) Curd, Ginger garlic paste,
Salt, Red Chili powder, Turmeric powder, Cumin powder, Coriander powder, Red
food colour mix in 1 tea spoon water & mix it well make sure that the paste
is applied in the chicken pieces in the slice cuts also so that the paste
enters in the chicken completely.
· Marinate
the chicken for 2 to 3 hours.
· After 2 to
3 hours heat the pan add 1 tea spoon oil & butter in it & spread it
well across the pan.
· Place the
chicken pieces in it & roast on low flame for 5 minutes or till chicken
gets tender.
· After 5
minutes reverse the other side & roast the other side with the above same
process.
· Mean while
burn a small pieces of Charcoal / koila on the stove for smoke.
· Once the
pieces are roasted from both the side turn of the flame & remove the
chicken pieces in a pot or bowl.
· Place the
burning charcoal in a small metal bowl in the middle add few drops of oil or
Ghee on the burning charcoal & cover with lid for above 2 minutes for the
chicken to get well smokes.
· Done
spicy, yummy Chicken tandoori is ready to serve.
