Bhindi (Lady finger) Sabzi recipe

 


Ingredients

3 table spoon cooking oil / Tel

1 tea spoon cumin seeds / Jeera

10 to 12 curry leaves / Curry patta

3 cloves garlic fine chopped / Lassan

1 green chilli fine chopped (or as per your taste) / Hari mirch

2 medium sized onion fine chopped / Pyaaz

1 fine chopped tomato / Tamatar

1 tea spoon salt (or as per your taste) / Namak

1 tea spoon cumin powder / Jeera powder

1 tea spoon turmeric powder / haldi powder

1 tea spoon coriander powder / Dhaniya powder

½ bowl fine chopped coriander leaves / Dhaniya leaves

500 gm Lady finger slice cut / Bhendi


Preparation

·       Heat a pan & add cooking oil, cumin seeds, curry leaves, turmeric powder, cloves garlic chopped, green chilli chopped mix it well.

·       Then add onion chopped & roast for 1 minute on medium flame.

·       Then add tomato fine chopped, salt as required, cover lid & cook on low  medium flame for 5 minutes till onion & tomato turns soft.

·       Uncover lid & mix well & add cumin powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, mix well.

·       Add coriander leaves fine chopped, mix well.

·       Then add lady finger (bhindi) slice cut, mix well.

·       Cove lid & cook on low flame for 7 to 10 minutes till lady finger (bhindi) cooks soft

·       Uncover lid

·       Done lady finger is ready to serve

·       Garnish with coriander leaves / Dhaniya leaves.
