Ingredients
250 grams cauliflower (Phool Ghobi)
250 grams fresh green peas (Hara matar)
250 grams Capsicum (Shimla Mirch)
2 medium size potatoes medium cut (Aaloo)
1 carrot small cut (Gajar)
1 cup coriander leaves fine chopped (Hara Dhaniya)
Salt to taste
1 lemon for squeezing
1 glass water
2 table spoon cooking oil
2 table spoon butter (makhan)
2 medium size chopped onion
2 tomatoes medium size chopped
1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
2 tea spoon pav bhaji masala
1 tea spoon red chili powder (Lal Mirchi powder)
1 pinch red food colour (mix in 1 tea spoon water)
Butter to fry Pav
Preparation
Mix all above ingredients & pressure cook till 3 whistle
After 3rd whistle low the flame & pressure cook for 30minutes
Mash the boiled cooked vegetable
Heat oil in pan
Add 2 table spoon butter (Makhan)
Add chopped onion
Add chopped tomatoes
Mix well on low flame
Add 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste & mix well
Add ½ tea spoon salt (Namak) or as per taste
Cover the pan with lid till onion & tomatoes are soft cooked on low
flame (around 5minutes)
Open lid add Pav bhaji masala
Add red chili powder
Add red food colour
Roast for 5 to 7minutes on low flame
Than add mashed boiled vegetable in it
Mix it well & cover with lid & cook on low flame for 5 minutes
Garnish with coriander leaves (Hara Dhaniya)
Squeeze ½ lemon juice (Nimbu)
Mix well add 1 table spoon butter (makhan) Pav bhaji is ready
Add butter on tawa add ½ tea spoon red chili powder & few coriander
leaves & fry bread (pav)
Ready to serve hot Pav Bhaji with chopped onion, Butter & coriander
leaves
